3 Year Old Program

Brief Description

Every child enters the world ready to learn and wanting to learn. The three's curriculum at the Aurora Co-op nurtures the potential and continuing growth of a child's knowledge and understanding of themselves and their world. It promotes a safe, caring and stimulating environment, where learning flourishes as children have time and opportunities to explore and investigate their world creatively.

The curriculum contributes to the development of the whole child through individual and group activities. Readiness activities are presented through a variety of learning centers. Pre-reading and pre-writing skills are encouraged throughout the curriculum along with opportunities for the child-initiated, teacher-supported play that supports cognitive development and allows a child to develop their imagination and also creativity to new horizons.

Classes for the 3 year old program meet on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00am to 11:30am.

Children entering the 3 year old program must be 3 by September 30th.

I love being able to, as a parent, be actively involved in my child's learning and I hope to help make the experience just as rewarding for other parents! I am excited to be learning and growing along with the parents and children at the school!
