Every child enters the world ready to learn and wanting to learn. The three’s curriculum at the Aurora Co-op nurtures the potential and continuing growth of a child’s knowledge and understanding of themselves and their world. It promotes a safe, caring and stimulating environment, where learning flourishes as children have time and opportunities to explore and investigate their world creatively.
The curriculum contributes to the development of the whole child through individual and group activities. Readiness activities are presented through a variety of learning centers. Pre-reading and pre-writing skills are encouraged throughout the curriculum along with opportunities for the child-initiated, teacher-supported play that supports cognitive development and allows a child to develop their imagination and also creativity to new horizons.
Your child must be 3 years old by September 30th of the enrolling school year.
